A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking:
£50 for daytime parties.
£100 for private hires.
Deposits must be paid by credit or debit card (all major cards accepted except American Express).
Cash is not accepted.
Paying the deposit means you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received.
Monkey Bizness reserves the right to refuse any booking.
The remaining balance must be paid at least one week before the party. Failure to do so may result in the party not going ahead.
Cancellation and Postponement
The deposit is non-refundable.
If you cancel or postpone within 7 days of the party date, the full party cost is non-refundable.
If you cancel or postpone more than 7 days before the party, you will not be charged the remaining balance, but you will lose your deposit.
Attendance
Confirm the final number of children when paying the balance (including the birthday child).
Up to 3 additional children may be accommodated on the day, subject to space, and must be paid for immediately.
Minimum party size is 12 children.
No refunds are given for guests who do not attend.
All party guests must sign in on arrival.
Children not included in the party booking may enter by paying normal admission but will not receive party food, party bags, or a seat at the party table.
Each child may be accompanied by one adult. The birthday child may have up to four accompanying adults. Extra adults may incur an additional charge.
Party Timing
Parties and private hires last 2 hours.
Arrive a few minutes early.
Late arrivals will not receive extra time.
Party rooms must be vacated promptly at the end of the session.
Dietary Requirements
Inform the centre of any allergies or dietary requirements at least 7 days before the party.
Although every effort is made to accommodate allergies, food is prepared in a shared kitchen, so cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed.
Rules and Supervision
All guests must follow the centre’s rules of play.
Children must be supervised by parents or carers.
Recommended supervision ratio is 1 adult for every 5 children.
Bring contact details for parents who are not staying, in case of an emergency.
Liability
Personal belongings are left at your own risk.
Monkey Bizness accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury except where caused by its negligence.
Prohibited Items
Helium balloons. (Air filled balloons are permitted)
Sparkler candles.
Piñatas.
Party poppers.
Invitations
You will either:
Receive your party invitations by post, or
Collect them from your local Monkey Bizness centre, depending on the option selected when booking
On Arrival
You will be greeted by your party host, who will be your main point of contact throughout the party.
Your host will show you to your reserved area or private party room, depending on your booking.
You can leave your belongings there before guests begin playing.
Children and adults are then free to use the play facilities.
Please do not arrive before your booked party/private hire time, as the centre may not have space to accommodate early arrivals.
Food and Drink
A party announcement will be made when it is time for guests to eat (meal times may vary slightly).
If you were using a reserved seating area, your belongings should be moved to the party room before mealtime.
Jugs of squash will be provided.
Standard party food is served buffet style, followed by an ice cream or ice lolly dessert.
Pizza Parties include a selection of pizzas, bowls of fries, and an ice cream or ice lolly dessert.
Only food and drink purchased from Monkey Bizness may be consumed on the premises.
For private hires, opening the kitchen incurs an additional £30 charge. The café will remain open for drinks and snacks.
Party Room
Decorations are allowed but must be put up during your allocated room time and removed afterwards.
Party room allocation cannot be guaranteed until the day of the party.
Some party rooms are upstairs with no lift access.
Party room times may vary slightly depending on the age of the children.
Party Bags and Entertainment
Party bags are included with Mega Monkey Parties.
Marvin the Monkey appears only at Mega Monkey Parties.
External entertainers must provide risk assessments and public liability insurance. Face painters require prior approval and incur a surcharge.
At the Rochford centre, rock climbing is available only to children aged 4+, subject to harness fitting.
Clothing
Long sleeves and trousers/leggings are recommended to reduce friction burns from slides.
Socks must be always worn by both adults and children.
